I have many shirts by August Tailor and take all of my friends there when they come visit. If you’re spending some time in Saigon, this is a great tailor with affordable prices and great quality.
Family-owned business. I looked at 3 other bespoke suit tailors in the area which were all very popular but pricey and some of the salesman just came off like used car salesmen. August Tailor was very attentive, didn't rush, and worked with humility while he toddler and mother, and husband are all tandem. I ended up getting 2 quality suits for $15m vnd which I am very content with.
Got 4 shirts and 3 pants tailored from scratch. Went on Saturday 5.30pm, manage to have 1st fitting on Monday Morning, with final fitting/collection on Wed Morning.They also helped me shorten 3 of my existing pants.Amazing price, speed & quality service is insane. The quality of their pants/shirts is insane too.Will definitely recommend everyone to go there. Dont be fooled by their surroundings and the exterior of shop.

We found this tailor just near the main tourist area, and it was an absolutely brilliant encounter. The friendliness, help, support, material, and quality were all fantastic. The care taken across the multiple fittings were brilliant, and I have to say, it's probably the best suit I've purchased. As someone who is short and a bit wider across the shoulders, buying suits is difficult, and I always have to add quite a bit on top of the price, to get it tailored. But here, made to fit, and a fraction of the price for the same, of not better quality, I'm very happy. The fact they keep your measurements for online/future purchases, is brilliant. I'm definitely going to buy from again!!Oh, and I liked the fixed price, means no haggling and you know where you stand from the outside.

Vy and the staff were super helpful, professional, and expeditious. I booked my appointment online before arriving in Saigon. The appointment was for Monday. Arrived and picked my colors and measurements were taken. Prices are fixed so no haggling but that was refreshing. First fitting was for the next day. Second fitting two days later and the suit was ready by Friday. During each fitting they were really attentive and made sure they addressed every detail. I was happy with the results and will be back.

Excellent experience at August tailor and would recommend for anyone visiting HCMC. I was looking to get a suit tailored for the week I was traveling to Vietnam and Vi accommodated me and an additional two friends that also wanted suits. The team was able to complete our three suits within 5 days, even working overtime on a Sunday for one of them because a small part was not 100%. Don’t think about shopping anywhere else, if you are in Saigon, go to August tailor. I will be returning next time I’m in Vietnam.

I was only in town for 7 days and managed to get 3 suits custom-made (black, gray, and navy blue), plus a couple of dress shirts, and they nailed it! 🎯 They did two fittings to make sure everything fit perfectly, and I’ve never had a tailor pay this much attention to detail. 👌The staff is super friendly and they know their stuff. You can even pick out the buttons, lapel styles, and inner linings to really make the suit your own. The suits feel amazing, and they’re exactly how I wanted them to look — ready for my court appearances and any special occasion. 💼Every time I was there, I saw people from all over the world coming in to get suits, so you know they’re popular and trusted. Plus, they were super close to my hotel, which made it really convenient. If you’re in town for a few days, this is a must-do, especially if you’ve got a wedding or any event where you want to look sharp! 🔥 Highly recommend!
Excellent tailor to stop by and make your suit in HCM. Got measured on the 10th in the morning and the suit was ready by the 14th in the evening, with 2 fittings arranged in between. Definitely requires a bit of planning ahead of time if you are intending to make a suit on holiday here but they will really do their best to accommodate your schedule. It was an amazing experience here and the level of detail they get into was simply impressive. I do have quite uneven, sloping shoulders that many tailors find quite difficult/troublesome to work around. However, as you can see in the photos, they did a great job fitting the suit to my body and it really was a wonderful time there. I made a 2-piece and 2 dress shirts that were all fully customisable, from the lining to the pockets and even the cuffs. Don’t miss out on the tailored shirts, which I feel are great value for money considering the amount of customisability and the great fit it provides.

The owner is very meticulous, it's obvious she's an expert in this field. She will carefully adjust every part of the suit until it is perfect for you.I am very happy with the two 3-piece suits I ordered, absolutely recommend to check this tailor without hesitation.

This week, I revisited Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and had a couple more trousers and shirts tailored. The service was affordable, the quality and workmanship were excellent, and the customer service was top-notch.If you plan to visit, make sure to allocate enough time: about 3-4 days for shirts and trousers, and 5-7 days for suits, as tailoring takes time to ensure a perfect fit. Additionally, remember that some fabrics are not suitable for machine washing, so please hand wash those materials to maintain their quality. Thank you!

I loved my experience at August Tailor. I’m a lawyer in the US and visited Vietnam for the first time. I had heard of custom tailoring around Vietnam and researched HCM city and somewhat randomly chose August Tailor. Made an appointment via email before traveling. The experience was awesome. 1st visit lasted about an hour picking out suit fabrics, linings and some shirts. Two following days for 15 minute fittings and adjustments. 3rd day pick up. This service exceeded my custom tailoring I’ve had in the US. Final purchase: 3 suits, 1 sport coat, 1 pair of pants and six shirts. Total: $1200. The savings from doing this in the US paid for my airfare! I had to buy another suit case to get it home! Wish I had bought more.

Came in for pricing and measurements, then returned for 2 more measurements and quality check.
